SSI Securities Corporation officially published a notice about system restoration after fixed the unstable connection happened on August 18, 2020. Accordingly, starting from morning session of August 19, 2020, all SSI's customers will be able to trade normally with securities codes trading on Ho chi minh Stock Exchange, Hanoi Stock Exchange and Upcom.
According to the previous official press release, in the morning of August 18, 2020, SSI Securities Corporation’s trading system had an unstable connection that led to inability of customers to place buy/sell orders on the systems that include SSI Webtrading, SSI Mobile Trading, SSI Pro Trading and SSI iBoard. The cause of the problem is determined by the company is the instability of the North-South WAN connection. For the afternoon session, these unstable connections have been almost fixed as customers were able to trade normally with securities codes trading on HNX and Upcom. For those of trading on HSX, it can be done through direct floor trading placement order.
Until 18:30 of August 18, after our great efforts to perform coordinating test with HSX, the outage was completely fixed, and all connection is fully restored. Thus, all SSI’s customers are able to trade normally on our systems starting from morning trading session on August 19, 2020.
Once again, SSI Securities Corporation are deeply sorry to all our customers, clients and investors. We thank you all for your loyalty and we are always looking for ways to better our service, to bring you a better experience.
